While in the care of Longwood Stables, your horse will be treated like one of the family. We will work closely with you, your veterinarian, farrier and any other equine practitioner in your “team” to get your horse back into top notch condition as quickly as possible.

Longwood Stables and Equine Rehabilitation has found its home in a charming family owned facility in Delaplane, VA. The facility features an 8 stall barn with rubber mats, abundant natural light, ample turnout (private and group available), automatic waterers, round-pen, tack room, outdoor arena with sand footing and a show jumping course, miles of hacking, 4 board fencing and more.

Longwood Stables is conveniently located 1 mile from I-66, 15 minutes from the Animal Swim Center of Middleburg, 1 hour from the Virginia Equine Medical Center, 20 minutes from downtown Middleburg, VA and 20 minutes from Dr. Kent Allen’s Virginia Equine Imagining. The area is rich with many of the country’s most renowned equine practitioners (veterinary, farrier, holistic).
